H.E. Ambassador @DelilKedir has held a meeting with Honorable Arthur Tamasenqa Ntuli in Durban city and discussed on bilateral and current affairs precisely contemplated on Ethiopian citizen’s residing in the city.

During the discussion, H.E. Ambassador Delil underscored that Ethiopia and South Africa has a strong and historically tied relationship, the bilateral relation between the two countries has growing and reached to the level of strategic partnership. Due to the strong historical relationship, a large number of Ethiopian citizens are residing in Durban city. He also acknowledged the administration and Durban city residents for accommodating Ethiopian citizens as a praiseworthy deed. In addition, Ambassador Delil, raised about the directive passed by the government regarding registrations and small business administration that the majority of Ethiopian citizens are engaged on. He stated that the Embassy of Ethiopia is working closely and cooperatively on implementation process of the directive with the central Government and the concerned bodies.

H.E. Artur Tamasenqa Ntuli welcomed the Ambassador and his delegation to KwaZulu-Natal and outlined the historical relation between Ethiopia and South Africa. He pointed out about the abundant history and unique calendar of Ethiopia and recognized the current economic achievements of our Country. A significant number of foreigners including Ethiopian citizens and KwaZulu-Natal are living together in the spirit of Brotherhood and cooperation. He appreciated the commitment and endeavor of H.E. the Ambassador to work closely and cooperatively upon the enforcement process of the directive. He assured the readiness to work in collaboration on the directive and bilateral affairs.
